Alder bark tanned Deerskin

The alder was collected on my property, the deer taken just a few miles down the road by my neighbor during hunting season last Fall.  The full skin is about 4x2.5 ft The neck and spine are thicker and more stiff.  Good for projects that require rigid leather.  Soak the segment of skin you intend to work with to make it easily pliable and to take the shape of the object intended.  The edges and belly would make great jewelry pieces and laces.  Shipping will be next week.
