3 day Hide tanning Workshop

3 day intensive hide tanning workshop in which each participant will work with their own sheepskin from start to finish and take the completed sheepskin home.
 
Included in the weekend:
 
On-site camping next to a river
Friday night lamb burger BBQ
Basic tools for tanning
Sheepskin
 
Option to purchase the wood frame to take home (use of the frame for the workshop is included)
 
The first weekend is June 16-18th in Cascade, MT on a working cattle ranch. Near to 2 major airports. This is a convenient location that offers incredible views and wildspaces to enjoy. This event is for women 18+. No dogs
 
Second weekend is August 11-13th in Naches, WA along the river.  we'll be thankful for the shaded space and access to cool water at this time of year. This is a co-ed event.  18+ no dogs
 
Participants will bring their own camping gear and food for the weekend including a dish or beverage to share with the group on Friday night for a potluck style BBQ. Main course provided by the hosts. 
 
These events are suitable for all skill levels and physical abilities as long as you can handle being on your feet for multiple hours and using basic hand tools.  
 
Please bring closed toed shoes, suitable outdoor wear and items you don't mind getting messy/dirty.
